Additional information about the operation of continuous failover:

    • After the continuous failover has been configured and started, data will be continuously rehydrated from the object store to the recovery site. VMs can be immediately operated normally at the protected site. Eventually, the operating mode will indicate “Continuous Rehydration in Progress” and the protection status of VMs will become “Recoverable.”
    • After the protection status of VMs become "Recoverable," CFO can be completed to immediately recover them from the storage site.
    • Additional VMs can be added to the protected domain while operating in continuous failover mode. Furthermore, VDISKs can be added to or removed from VMs of the protected domain while operating in continuous failover mode. No additional steps or special procedures are necessary.
