It is not mandatory to establish the service cluster at the recovery site prior to protection. The service cluster at the recovery site can be established during initial configuration or after an incident occurs, as part of the recovery process. Compute clusters are added to the recovery site on demand, as needed. The system requirements of the recovery site are generally the same as for the protected site.
