Email Service for Alerts
An SMTP email sender and receiver must be established before the alert function can be configured and used.
- The SMTP sender is set up directly in the vCenter.
- The SMTP receiver is set up under the Configurations tab.
After the SMTP sender and receiver have been set up, alert notifications should be configured.
