An SMTP email sender and receiver must be established before the alert function can be configured and used.

    • The SMTP sender is set up directly in the vCenter.
    • The SMTP receiver is set up from the JetStream DR Configurations screen.


Note: After the SMTP sender and receiver have been set up, alert notifications can be configured.
