• Protected disk information must be coherent in the VM/vCenter, MSA, and DRVA. If information about a disk is not present or incorrect in any of them, protection for the disk must be stopped. Typically, the disk will become an “orphan” if the DR administrator manually detaches the IOFilter using vCenter or because of a rare double or triple failure. There is no explicit indication that a disk is “orphaned” in the JetStream DR GUI. The indication could be a growing of the Domain’s RPO or growing garbage in the object storage. The Global Health View utility can detect this condition. Typically, removing an orphaned disk requires assistance from JetStream support.
