Snapshot revert stops protection. Protected disks switch to bypass mode where write commands are bypassed to backend storage without replication. JetStream DR recognizes snapshot revert events and automatically cancels protection. VMs will still be presented in the UI in the “Replication cancelled” state. To restart protection VMs must have all snapshots removed and disks consolidated. This will be addressed in a future product version.
