• Protecting VMs with independent, non-persistent disks is not supported. This is VMware VAIO API limitation. (DRBC-6492, DRBC-6493)
  • Protecting VMs that have disks shared with other VMs is not supported. This is a VMware VAIO API limitation. JetStream DR rejects attempts to start protection for such VMs.
  • Protecting VMs that have RDM (Raw Disk Mapping) disks is not supported. This is a VMware VAIO API limitation. JetStream DR rejects attempts to start protection of such VMs.
  • JetStream DR cannot protect VMs with the NVMe disk controller type due to limitations of VMware.
  • Azure Storage accounts (blob storage) with hierarchical namespace enabled are not supported.
  • A compatible policy must be used when performing Storage vMotion of a protected VM. vCenter does not restrict policy selection. If an incompatible policy is selected, protection may fail. (DRBC-8462)
