Upgrading from a Version Prior to 4.3.0

JetStream DR 5.0 is based on a new operating system and upgrading cannot be executed in-place.

JetStream provides a helper PowerShell script for upgrading on-prem, and a Cmdlet for upgrading in the AVS environment that copies the configuration and state of the old appliance to the newly deployed one. After upgrading to version 5.0, the last JetStream support bundle from the MSA prior to upgrading will be available from within the new MSA at: /var/lib/vme2/pkg/pre-upgrade-bundle.tar.gz.

Upgrading from Version 4.3.0

Please use the upgrade ISO provided with JetDR 5.0 release to upgrade an existing 4.3.0 installation.
