This article applies to JetStream DR for AVS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Azure Blob storage can be attached to JetStream DR for AVS using Microsoft Entra ID. Enter necessary information and attach Azure Blob storage according to the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter Microsoft Entra ID Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. On the Configurations<\/em> tab two sets of information must be provided to configure JetStream DR with Microsoft Entra ID:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Tenant ID \/ Application ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Application Secret<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click the Tenant ID \/ Application ID<\/em> Configure link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        • Enter the Tenant ID and Application ID as requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click the Configure<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          1. Click the Application Secret<\/em> Configure link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            • Enter the application secret value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Click the Configure<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              1. The fields of the Configuration<\/em> tab will be updated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                • If the Tenant ID, Application ID, or Application Secret ever need to be modified, come back to this screen and click the corresponding link.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  Attach Azure Blob Storage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                  After Microsoft Entra ID has been configured and information entered into JetStream DR, Azure Blob storage can be attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  1. On the screen to add Azure Blob storage, set the Access Type to Microsoft Entra ID (AAD) Based Access<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    NOTE<\/strong>: Hierarchical namespace is not supported by JetStream DR when used with Microsoft Entra ID. Make sure this feature is not enabled in Azure Blob storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Enter the Storage Site Name and Azure Blob Storage Account Name then click the Add Storage Site<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
