versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Issue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The following error may be encountered during cluster upgrade:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image if any of the hosts are unable to enter maintenance mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Validate if any affinity rules are set.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Affinity rules are employed to regulate the positioning of virtual machines (VMs) and their associated resources within a cluster of ESXi hosts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">To validate rules:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">From vCenter, select: <strong>Cluster \u2192 VM\/Host Rules<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">All applied rules will be displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"402\"
