Problems with background replication can be caused by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Replication Log Volume full<\/strong><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/jetstream-knowledge-base\/protected-domain-log-space-is-low\/\" data-type=\"ht_kb\" data-id=\"2526\">replication&nbsp;log and metadata<\/a> have no space left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Replication not progressing<\/strong><br>Replication is not processing and becomes stuck due to disruption between the DRVA and object store. This can be checked from the <em>Incoming and Outgoing Data Rate<\/em> report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Replication is slow<\/strong><br>Replication is slow due to a network bandwidth issue. This can be checked by monitoring the DRVA VM network statistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">Refer to the linked KB article to determine if <a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/jetstream-knowledge-base\/protected-domain-log-space-is-low\/\">space on the replication log volume is low<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem The amount of Remaining Background Data does not change or decrease over time.
