{"id":2581,"date":"2023-06-06T16:27:23","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T00:27:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=2581"},"modified":"2024-12-12T14:40:49","modified_gmt":"2024-12-12T22:40:49","slug":"change-the-default-gateway-of-a-drva","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/jetstream-knowledge-base\/change-the-default-gateway-of-a-drva\/","title":{"rendered":"Change Default Gateway of a DRVA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">This article applies to all JSDR software versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Issue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In some scenarios it is necessary to route the DRVA management\/data network over a particular gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The following steps describe how to change the default gateway used by a DRVA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JetStream DR Version 4.1.16<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">From vCenter launch the DRVA VM web console and log in to the DRVA using admin credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">* Obtain DRVA admin credentials from Jetstream support.<br>* SSH is disabled for DRVAs by default. A Power Shell script can be used to add persistent default routes on a DRVA. Contact JetStream support for help performing this action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JetStream DR Version 4.1.18 (and above)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Starting with JetStream DR version 4.1.18, it is possible to add additional network routes from the GUI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">In the JetStream DR GUI navigate to: <em>Appliances > Settings > Add<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Using the GUI, apply any required additional network routes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">This is the recommended method to add network routes for JetStream software versions that support this capability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Issue In some scenarios it is necessary to route the DRVA management\/data network over a particular gateway.
