Connection refused by Management Server. This is mandatory for the seamless management functionality of JetStream DR. This can be validated using <em><strong>ping <\/strong><\/em>and<em><strong> curl -v<\/strong><\/em> commands.<br><kbd><strong>#curl -v https:\/\/&lt;vCenter_IP or FQDN>:443<\/strong><\/kbd><br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"850\" height=\"161\" class=\"wp-image-3268\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/1.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/1.png 885w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/1-300x57.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/1-768x146.png 768w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/1-50x9.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><br>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Validate the MSA VM is up and running.<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Ensure port 443 is enabled.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"76\" class=\"wp-image-3269\" style=\"width: 500px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step3.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step3.png 547w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step3-300x46.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step3-50x8.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><br>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">From the MSA web console, check if the <em>PostgreSQL <\/em>and <em>Tomcat <\/em>services are up and running.<br><kbd><strong>#service vme2 status<\/strong><\/kbd><br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"79\" class=\"wp-image-3271\" style=\"width: 400px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step4.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step4.png 432w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step4-300x59.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step4-50x10.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><br>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Re-establish the PostgreSQL and Tomcat8 services. PostgreSQL is the MSA DB service and Tomcat8 is a webserver service.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Manually <strong>start<\/strong> the services using the command: <kbd><strong>#service vme2 start<\/strong><\/kbd>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Completely <strong>restart <\/strong>both services using the command: <kbd><strong>#service vme2 restart<\/strong><\/kbd>.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"850\" height=\"168\" class=\"wp-image-3272\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step5.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step5.png 823w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step5-300x59.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step5-768x152.png 768w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step5-50x10.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><br>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If it is noticed from the MSA web console that Tomcat8 service has not successfully started and continuously retries, manually restart the Tomcat8 service or consider rebooting the entire MSA VM.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"850\" height=\"329\" class=\"wp-image-3273\" style=\"width: 850px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6.png 1222w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6-300x116.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6-1024x396.png 1024w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6-768x297.png 768w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/step6-50x19.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><br>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">From JetStream DR software version 4.3 and beyond, it is possible to manually restart the Tomcat8 service. Use the following command to restart Tomcat8: <kbd><strong>#service msa-tomcat restart<\/strong><\/kbd>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-danger wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">If you are unable to start the Tomcat8 service, contact JetStream support for additional assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">After making any changes to the MSA network, reboot the MSA VM for the changes to be reflected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Issue Unable to access the JetStream DR UI from the vCenter.
