Because the primary site was up and running in this example, ownership of the protected domain fails to be transferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-danger wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">If the primary site is operational, failing over (moving) files should be done using the <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/online-docs\/jsdr-admin_4.2\/CompleteFailoverOptions.html\">planned failover<\/a><\/em><\/strong> option. To test the operation and integrity of failover for the purpose of DR, the <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/online-docs\/jsdr-admin_4.2\/TestFailover.html\">test failover<\/a><\/em><\/strong> option should be used.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/online-docs\/jsdr-admin_4.2\/CompleteFailoverOptions.html\">&#8220;Regular&#8221; and &#8220;forced&#8221; failover options<\/a> are applicable in the event of complete or partial disaster at the primary site.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem The \u201cregular failover\u201d task fails displaying the error \u201cUnable to become a Protected Domain owner due to remote activity.
