{"id":5830,"date":"2024-10-30T16:13:08","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T00:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=5830"},"modified":"2024-11-21T14:41:23","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T22:41:23","slug":"drva-deployment-stuck-at-95","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/jetstream-knowledge-base\/drva-deployment-stuck-at-95\/","title":{"rendered":"DRVA Deployment Stuck at 95%"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">This article applies to all JSDR software versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">During the deployment of a DRVA, the task appears to halt at 95% and does not proceed further; however, the DRVA virtual machine has in fact been successfully created and is operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This problem can be exhibited when a communication failure occurs between the MSA and DRVA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Confirm connectivity between the MSA and DRVA by running the following command from the MSA CLI: <kbd><strong>curl -kv https:\/\/:32878\/drva\/about<\/strong><\/kbd><br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If the command above returns a connection error, verify the network configuration and ensure the MSA and DRVA can communicate over port 32878.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If using VLANs, ensure that they can communicate with each other.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">This applies for both static &amp; DHCP IP.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">It is recommended to configure VLAN tagging at one level of the network infrastructure only.<br>If both the VM and the VPG are configured with VLAN tags, it can lead to duplication of VLAN tagging, causing potential network conflicts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem During the deployment of a DRVA, the task appears to halt at 95% and does not proceed further; however, the DRVA virtual machine has in fact been successfully created and is operational.
