If this timeout error occurs during the DRVA upgrade process, it can result in the status becoming stuck at \u201c45%\u201d completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"529\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5834\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command.png 1000w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-768x406.png 768w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-50x26.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Run command has timed out causing upgrade to stop at 45%.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Investigate whether the <em>Upgrade <\/em>Run command caused the timeout during the session.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Examine the state of the DRVA VM to determine if it is currently powered on or powered off.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">If the VM is <em>powered on<\/em>, manually power it off then wait a few minutes and observe any change to the status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If there is no noticeable change after powering off the DRVA VM, power it back on and wait a few minutes then proceed to the next step.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Review the DRVA version. If the version is not current, <a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/online-docs\/jsdr-admin\/upgradeDRVA.html\">upgrade the DRVA<\/a>.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If there is still no change and the Run command reports the following status for an extended period of time, proceed to the next step to restart services.<br><br><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"549\" class=\"wp-image-5835\" style=\"width: 500px;\" src=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-cli.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-cli.png 800w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-cli-273x300.png 273w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-cli-768x843.png 768w, https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/run-command-cli-46x50.png 46w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jetstreamsoft.atlassian.net\/wiki\/spaces\/KBDR\/pages\/2840461415\">Restart the vme2<\/a> service from the MSA CLI. This will kill and then then resume the upgrade task.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Restarting vme2 stops and then restarts the PostgreSQL and Tomcat8 services used by JetStream DR.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\"><strong>Restarting Tomcat Services (only)<br><\/strong>From JetStream DR software version 4.3 and beyond, it is possible to manually restart the Tomcat service only.
