The task logs may indicate the following error:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" <em>\u201cPBM error occurred during PreReconfigureCallback\u201d<\/em> it may be caused by underlying vCenter server issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-alert wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">A potential cause of this issue may be a mismatch between the vCenter certificate and the host&#8217;s <em>&#8220;iofiltervp_castore.pem&#8221;<\/em> certificate located in <strong><kbd>\/etc\/vmware\/ssl<\/kbd><\/strong> under the ESXi Host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Ensure there are no underlying issues with vCenter server.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">All JetStream DR appliances should be online and working as expected without any issues.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Confirm storage providers of the vCenter server are online.<br>(<strong>vCenter \u2192 Configure \u2192 Storage Providers<\/strong>)<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">If they are offline, try using the <em>Synchronize Storage Providers<\/em> or <em>Rescan <\/em>options.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"373\" wp-block-hb-message--withicon\">All storage providers must be <em>online<\/em> before starting VM protection. <em>VM protection will fail if the IO Filter provider is offline.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">If the issue persists or cannot be resolved, reach out to Microsoft Support [AVS] or VMware support [On-Prem] for assistance with resolving storage provider issues and bringing them online.<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional
