Network Configuration from the MSA Command Line

This article applies to JSDR software versions 4.2.6 and below.

MSA network configuration can be managed using the MSA command line utility vami_config_net. This article illustrates using vami_config-net to step through guided options to modify the MSA IP and netmask.

1. Log in to the MSA using root credentials.
    
2. Execute the command:
   #/opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net
   
   
    
3. Option #6 allows the IP (and netmask) to be modified:
    

Be careful when modifying MSA network details. Errors can cause the MSA to become inaccessible.
