Collecting CPT Support Logs

This article applies to all JSDR software versions.

CPT support logs are used to troubleshoot issues or errors that occur when the tool is used to collect system stats or while generating CPT protection plans. These are the steps for gathering CPT tool support logs.

Instructions

  1. From the CPT web UI navigate to the About tab then select the Generate Support Log button.
Generate a support log.
  1. If the problem is related to protection plan generation, log in to the CPT console and retrieve the output from /opt/jetstream/jetdr/plans/<Task ID>, where <Task ID> corresponds to the ID of a failed task.
Retrieve output by task ID.
