Issue
If the JetStream DR plugin does not appear in the vCenter server after successfully installing JetStream DR software (MSA UI is accessible for vCenter registration), the following error may be encountered when checking the plugin client or while attempting to enable the plugin.
“Error downloading plug-in. Make sure that the URL is reachable and the registered thumbprint is correct…”
Solution
This situation typically occurs if there are issues with DNS.
- Confirm the vCenter server’s IP/FQDN is registered with the MSA and is accessible to the MSA.
- Address any problems discovered then check the vSphere Client Plugins screen to verify the JetStream DR plugin is properly deployed and enabled.
