Problem
You may encounter a socket error while creating the replication log on local or shared storage.
Solution
Do the the following to resolve the issue:
- Attempt a storage re-scan on all hosts from the storage adapters, then try adding the replication log again through the MSA GUI.
- If the issue persists, check the journal log for any error messages.
- If any errors related to JetStream DR or the journal are detected, it is likely there is mismatch of the storage initiator/target configuration.
- Check the configuration of all hosts to ensure they are accurate and consistent.
