VMs and virtual disks can have the following replication status:

Status

Description

Active

Data is currently being replicated across the network. The replication status will normally be reported as simply "Active" in which case data replication for the device is occurring without any issues.

Issues(s) present

In some cases, replication status may report "Issue(s) present" which indicates data replication is still actively occurring; however, problems have been detected that degrade network performance and may increase RPO. Steps should be taken to diagnose the cause of the problem and resolve any discovered issues.

Stopped

Data is not being replicated across the network. This can be indicative of a disaster that has resulted in replication failure. Steps should be taken to diagnose the cause of the problem and restore service.
