When the Storage Site step appears, an option is displayed to specify the storage type to be used.

  • Select a storage site type.
  • If it is necessary to subsequently change the storage type, come back to this step and make a different selection from the Storage Site Type option that appears at the top of the Storage Site screens.


NOTE: It is possible to generate a protection plan without initially specifying a storage site (select the “blank” line at the top of the list).
Failover and failback plans require the use of object storage; therefore, a storage site must be specified when generating plans for them.
