Failover Prerequisites
The following prerequisites must be considered prior to using JetStream DR in failover mode:
- The recovery site is fully configured.
- Necessary network segments are set up for the JetStream appliance and failover VMs.
- A storage account for replication is added to the recovery site.
- A DRVA and replication log (RL) are configured at the recovery site.
- Required protected domains are imported to the recovery site.
- A DHCP IP must be available for the Representation VM (RVM) network. Each protected VM involved in recovery or failover will have a corresponding RVM.
After prerequisites have been checked, proceed to setup failover.
