Review JetStream DR pre-installation requirements then deploy the software package.

JetStream DR for AVS

JetStream DR for AVS software will be deployed automatically by the system if it is subscribed to from Azure Marketplace. 

Note: If necessary, it is also possible to manually deploy and configure JetStream DR for AVS using PowerShell run commands.

JetStream DR (On-Premises)

If JetStream DR software will be deployed on-premises or used outside of Microsoft Azure VMware Solution, a software installation package should be obtained from JetStream Software and manually installed. The installation package contains:

    • MSA .OVA installation file
    • Release notes
    • Administrator’s Guide
    • Additional related utilities and scripts

Note: Obtain the downloadable .OVA installation package from JetStream support ([email protected]) to install JetStream DR software in a standalone (on-premises) vCenter.


Important: Prior to installing any version of JetStream DR software, it is recommended to obtain the Automation Toolkit and use the included Capacity Planning Tool (CPT) to verify the available system resources and network bandwidth are sufficient for operation. CPT can be run prior to and independently from JetStream DR software.
