The Cloud Data graph located under the Statistics tab provides insight into the consumption of object store storage space when the PITR function is used. The graph indicates compressed “total data” and “PITR log data” in the cloud.

  • PITR log data is used to roll VMs back and forth to specific points in time and therefore is not eligible for garbage collection. It can be useful to understand the amount of data consumed by the PITR function. 
  • If the amount is excessive, consider creating a new protected domain with a smaller PITR time window.
  • Mousing over points on the graph provides detailed information.

Monitor object storage space consumed while the PITR session is active.
