  • Improved temporary VM cleanup. (DRBC-6986, DRBC-6983)

JetStream DR 4.1.10

What’s New in JetStream DR 4.1.10

  • Stop protection for the disk that is being deleted from a protected VM.
  • Better cleanup for the disks being removed from protection. If a protected disk is detached and re-attached to a VM it loses policy information in vCenter, but actual disk attributes and I/O Filters are kept. JetStream DR uses a workaround that actualizes the policy and properly removes I/O Filter from such disks.

JetStream DR 4.1.8

What’s New in JetStream DR 4.1.8

  • Indicate bypass disks in GUI: In certain cases, a VM’s disk protected by JetStream DR might move to bypass mode. A disk in bypass mode indicates the disk, although it has I/O Filter attached, is not protected. In such cases, the user should unprotect the VM and then protect it again. This version release adds the feature to display VMs with disks in this state in the MSA GUI.
  • Capture RocVA logs as part of MSA support bundle: Previously, RocVA logs were only being collected if there was a recovery failure. In case of recovery not moving forward, it was difficult to know what was happening. This version release captures RocVA logs whenever an MSA support bundle is created.
  • Enhanced snapshot-related events handling.
  • Retry if attaching storage policy becomes stuck to ensure protection is started.
  • Enhanced handling of previously unassigned PCI slots in the VM.
  • Link JetStream DR alarms to vSphere alarms.
  • Access data directly for critical operations instead of from cache for consistency.
  • Clean handling of non-persistent disks.

Resolved Issues in JetStream DR 4.1.8

  • Upgrade RVM ISO: The problem has been fixed when an RVM doesn’t get uploaded to the datastore when the MSA tries to start recovery for a VM added to a CFO protected domain.
  • Multiple DRVA connections from a single I/O Filter VMX process.
  • Enhancements to timestamp handling of snapshots.
