In VMware environments, VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) IDs or tags are typically configured on virtual switch port groups, virtual network segments, or on upstream physical switch ports. In rare instances a VLAN ID/Tag may need to be set directly on VM’s virtual network interface. JetStream supports setting VLAN IDs for virtual network interface tagging when configuring static IP addresses for MSA, DRVA(s) or RocVA(s).

  • If required, VLAN Tag can be set for the MSA’s virtual network interface during MSA Installation
  • If required, VLAN ID can be set for DRVA’s virtual network interface(s) during DRVA deployment as part of static IP address configuration.
  • If required, VLAN ID can be set for RocVA’s virtual network interface(s) during failback, failover, and recover operations as part of the RocVA network setup when using static IP addresses.
