vCenter Plugin Failure

This article applies to all JSDR software versions.

Issue

A registration failure may occur while deploying the MSA and registering vCenter server.

Client plugin error message.

Solution

This error can be caused if a communication problem exists between the MSA and vCenter server. Perform the following to troubleshoot:

  1. Validate if a ping test works between the MSA and vCenter server.
  2. Verify the DNS.
  3. If the problem cannot be determined using the above steps, download and review the support log files.
