When a disk is removed from a dependent protected VM of a Recovery Group, AROVA automatically detects the disk removal and stops protection for that disk. AROVA then performs steps to clean up components associated with the disk including:

    • Stop replication.
    • Remove the disk from the Recovery Group’s Consistency Group.
    • Delete the secondary disk.
    • Clean the protection record from the AROVA database.
