Protection can be stopped for dependent VMs of a Recovery Group.

    • Navigate to the Protected Domains screen.
    • Select the Recovery Groups tab to review the list of all Recovery Groups.
    • Select a VM from the list then click the STOP PROTECTION button.
      • AROVA will stop protection for the VM and remove the VM from the Protected Domain and Recovery Group.
      • AROVA will automatically perform steps to clean up all components associated with the selected VM:
        • Stop replication for all disks of the VM.
        • Remove the VM disks from the Consistency Group.
        • Delete the corresponding Consistency Group.
        • Remove the secondary disks.
        • Clean the protection record from the AROVA database.

Note: Stopping protection for a VM within an existing Recovery Group does not affect the protection of other VMs in the group.
