Protection can be stopped at any time for independent protected VMs.

    • Navigate to the Protected Domains screen.
    • Select the Independent Protected VMs tab to review the list of protected VMs.
    • Select a VM then click the STOP PROTECTION button.
      • AROVA will stop protection for the VM and remove the VM from the Protected Domain.
      • AROVA will automatically perform steps to clean up all components associated with the protected VM:
        • Stop replication for all disks of the VM.
        • Remove the VM disks from the Consistency Group.
        • Delete the corresponding Consistency Group.
        • Remove the secondary disks.
        • Clean the protection record from the AROVA database.
