Import Protected Domains for Failback
Failback can be complete (restoring all Protected Domains together) or partial (restoring only selected Protected Domains). Follow the steps below to import Domains for failback:
Note: Failback operations are performed at the Protected Domain level which means all VMs of a Domain are failed back together as a unit.
- Go to the primary site.
- On the Storage Sites screen, select the object store from the storage site (added previously).
- Click the Scan Domains button.

- In the pop-up dialog window that appears choose a Protected Domain to import and click its Import link.
- The Domain will be imported to the primary site.
- This step can be repeated to import multiple Domains, as needed.

- Go to the Protected Domains screen.
- Select the imported Domain from the Select Protected Domain menu.
- A list of all the recoverable VMs from the Domain will be displayed.

- If multiple Domains were imported, choose the desired Domain from the Select Protected Domain menu.
